Eaton M112 Upgraded Supercharger Coupling

If your XKR / XJR is making a knocking sound then the likelihood is that this is down to the coupling in the supercharger unit. Our uprated coupling is a solid polymer item, while the standard ones are a sprung metal connector. Good idea to change this at the same time as changing the oil as part of a service job. XKR XJR Supercharger Great Value Oil Change Kit

We can supply supercharger oil change kits for the Eaton M112 Supercharger. The kit includes 225 ml of oil, syringe / tube and filling instructions. Cost of oil through Jaguar is approximately £60 plus typical Jaguar labour charge of £80 = £140. With this kit you can do yourself for a fraction of the cost. We use British Petroleum synthetic aviation turbine oil which exceeds the original Eaton requirement. Price is £24.75 + shipping and VAT.

Upper pulley for XKR, XJR, Range Rover Sport

We are able to offer upgraded supercharger pulleys to fit Jaguar and Range Rover AJV8 supercharged cars. These items are CNC machined from the highest quality materials, produced to exacting standards, and available at competitive prices for our customers. Upper pulleys have been produced to give a 10% supercharger speed increase, equating to
approximately 2.5psi boost rise, on 4.0 and 4.2 engines. For power increases, realistically, the upper will give 30-35bhp midrange and will give perhaps 15bhp peak increase at high rpm, due to the Eaton M112’s reduced efficiency at higher rpm. Either upper and lower pulley's produces a significant power improvement and very noticeable
increase in instant acceleration.

Our upper pulleys are made in stainless steel, turned to give a very smooth and aesthetically pleasing finish, and produced with a consistent .0002” /
0.005mm inner bore tolerance to ensure consistent and reliable shaft fitment. Unlike some aluminium versions of this upgrade, belt slippage is not a problem with these steel pulleys.

Fitment does require some material removal from the supercharger snout casting. This is achieved relatively simply with a rotary file or other hand tools. Overall the pulley change should take about 3 hours on XKR and early XJR models, but on S-Type and X350 models access in situ is difficult and some people prefer to remove the supercharger.

Lower pulley kit for XKR, XJR, Range Rover Sport

Lower pulleys have been produced to give a 16% power boost on 4.0 engines and 8% on 4.2 engines (which already have a larger lower wheel as standard). Realistically, the lower will give a 40-45bhp increase, and will give perhaps 15bhp peak increase at high rpm, due to the Eaton M112’s reduced efficiency at higher rpm. Either upper and lower pulley produces a significant improvement and very noticeable increase in instant acceleration.

Kit includes a modified Jaguar lower crank pulley, fitted with an aluminium lower supercharger pulley, replacement supercharger drive belt, replacement original Jaguar pulley bolt, and instructions.

Jaguar XKR/X300 XJR Intercooler Radiators - Direct bolt-in replacement for the standard pre-cooler radiator.

Unfortunately, Jaguar didn't design much reserve into the intercooler circuit. If coolant and inlet air temperatures rise too much, the ECU detects the changes and retards ignition accordingly to protect the engine – this will even happen on a standard car in hot conditions, though it is rarely noticeable to the driver.

Unless intended for track or very hard road use, the cooling system can cope comfortably with a single pulley upgrade. Driven hard however, standard and single pulley upgraded engines will benefit from cooler inlet air temperatures, and that means more power. Engines with both pulleys upgraded don't just benefit from uprated intercooling –they need it. We have invested in the manufacture of drop-in replacement intercooler radiators to fit the XKR and offer them at far more affordable prices than the £650-£800 typical from other sellers.
