Jaguar XK8 and XKR Upper Wishbone Arm Refurbished

A common problem is with the Jaguar XK8 and XKR's upper wishbone arm bushes seizing to the fulcrum pin and the whole lot rotating round and wearing into the subframe, or if no rotation in the fulcrum pin then the arm cracking / snapping. These arms from Jaguar are often not available and can be expensive to replace. We can supply qualty refurbished arms both left and right sides. Each arm includes 2 new OEM metallastic bushes and top ball joint, with the arm cleaned and painted so it looks great fitted. This is ready to fit and will save you time and effort in removing and refitting the old corroded in parts. A new arm from Jaguar will cost around £348 + VAT for left side MJD1421AA and same price for the right side MJD1420AA. (Supercession numbers JLM21377 and JLM21378) We can supply the refurbished arms for £220 + VAT and shipping each. This price includes a repayable surcharge of £60 + VAT on receipt of your old arm and if OK for refurbishing. So the net cost is just £160 + VAT.

Jaguar XK8 XKR Upper Spring Mounting Plate MJA2170BD

These upper mounting plates are notorious for wear in the cushioning material and in some cases this reduces down to cause metal to metal contact. This will cause a lowering of the ride height and knocking from the front suspension. Our price for the genuine Jaguar only available part - MJA2170BD is £116.25 + shipping and VAT each.

NEAR SIDE (LEFT) REAR LOWER CONTROL WISHBONE ARM JLM21305

If you have play in the bush or ball joint of the XK8 / XKR 100 series lower rear wishbone arm, then removing and refitting them is quite a challenge and requires a special jig and press to complete the job. Why not save time and money with these refurbished lower arms for the XK and XKR complete with new OE ball joint + bush, cleaned and painted they look great and are ready to fit. A new arm from Jaguar will cost around £348.75 + VAT for left side JLM21305 and same price for right side JLM21304. We can supply for £190 + shipping and VAT. This price includes a repayable surcharge of £50 on receipt of your old arm and if OK for refurbishing. So the net cost is just £140 + VAT.

Improve your ride - latest Polybush kit for XK8 and XKR

Worn bushes can affect the handling and ride of a car. On an XK8 / XKR, they should be changed if you are replacing the ball joints or shock absorbers / springs. However true to form on an XK8 / R, the bushes are unique and require care in replacement.

There is now a new range of British made Polyurethane bushes for the XK8 / XKR range as a direct replacement for the standard XK8 / XKR parts.These bushes are designed to give a taut yet refined ride and will also improve handling without a trade off in excessive vibration. Polyurethane bushes have a much longer life span than normal.

If replacing the bushes, then it is advisable to get a full set kit. This contains four each of front upper and lower wishbone bushes and a set of anti roll bar bushes.

Note that there are two different part numbers, those ending with the suffix CA fit on the front lower wishbone whilst those ending with BB are for the rear lower wishbone – beware as they look the same but are different.
