Let’s face it, the front of a Jaguar XK8 / XKR looks pretty impressive in it’s standard format. But a problem with the standard number plate plinth is that it partly obstructs the grill aperture. The front of the car looks much better if the number plate is positioned below the grill. This is a great improvement to the existing looks and is definitely recommended if you are planning to fit a mesh grill to the car which will really improve the look of your car further. * Box section design prevents number plate "kerb / speed bump" snagging which occurs with bracket style fitings, which can crack the nose cone.
